I cant believe how behind I've gotten on the blogging lol! For this entry i'll just write about my first days of school and in the next entry I'll just write a mega blog on all the fun stuff I've done from then until now :)
Wednesday (09/24/11)
Today marked my first real day of college. I didnt get a great nights sleep since I was nervous and excited about starting school but I woke up with a lot of energy, got myself and everything ready, and left a good thirty five minutes before class started. To my surprise, there were only a few people going downstairs at that moment and everyone looked like they'd just gotten run over lol. The energy level was no where near the excitement for school shown in the movies, like in Grease for example!

Blog 3: Plank to Chaturanga
So I realized that i'm still writing about stuff that happened earlier this week! >.< I think i'll start labeling the days so ya'll dont get confused xD Hopefully i'll be able to catchup to present day before I forget everything that's happened!!
Monday (09/22/11): Today was my first day of solitude. I woke up sore and groggy from the wooden plank they call my mattress! Rubi texted me saying since she was in the neighborhood (she lives about 15 minutes away in Duren) and that we should hang out. We decided to meet up at Jester City Limits, basically UT's version of Sbisa, and have breakfast. We still had money on our orientation cards so we decided to have a feast of a breakfast! Eggs, Hashbrowns, Sausage, Biscuit, the whole shebang! :D

Blog 2: Presidential Suite
After a pleasant night at Van and Ha's hotel, we woke up, played a bit of rummy, and, after MUCH deliberation, decided to eat at a Vietnamese noodle shop. We pulled up into what appeared to be, from the sign to the ghetto location, a typical Vietnamese joint. Since we arrived just minutes after the restaurant opened, the restaurant was pretty deserted, with the exception of the random white guy in the corner, and we were seated and catered to almost immediately. Though it looked like any other Vietnamese place you'd find off of Jupiter and Walnut, the interior was much more Americanized, with new contemporary paintings on sale and hanging from the walls and the menu being almost completely in English.

Blog 1: What Starts Here Changes the World
Not gonna lie, my last blog was pretty pitiful, full of odd rambling stories and many unfinished drafts on my experiences in Korea. With the new school and new city I decided why not start a new blog!
